We walked around the lake and ate at three good restaurants in walking distance, Barbette’s, Lake & Irving, and Black Walnut Bakery. We also rented kayaks on the lake, the rental area is just a block away. Uptown is not what it once was but here near the lake there’s still plenty to do and see and great location to get pretty much anywhere else in the Twin Cities."

The lighting was well-designed, making it easy to control for family activities and quiet reading/TV viewing. The appliances were top-of-the-line and a joy to use. The early November chill was easily forgotten by the wonderful heating system that kept the house at a constant temperature with no cold or drafty windows. The location was ideal - situated next to Lake Bde Maka Ska created a wonderful view from the master bedroom and uptown shopping was only a few blocks away. This made running out for groceries/coffee very convenient. In short the amenities and very responsive support made our family very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again."

Walking distance to great restaurants. Chilangro and Kim’s are both wonderful. Bike, canoe, kayak rentals close by. The office space off of the living room was perfect for anyone doing a working vacation. Best spot on lake Bde Maka Ska by far!"

"The house itself is very clean, bright, and nicely decorated. The location is very convenient, close to the lake, restaurants, and other amenities. The property management was very pleasant to deal with. However, the house is on a lot at the corner of two fairly busy roads. Though quiet overnight, there is a steady stream of cars and pedestrians right outside your door and windows throughout the day and evening. The switches for the lights and window shades were pretty confusing. The only two ceiling fans in the house go off or on high speed (verified with the property manager that they could not be adjusted). That was really too bad in the summer in the upstairs bedroom. Welcome information about the property and area would have been really helpful. I gave the property a five-star rating because it really is lovely, but I don't think I'd stay there again."

### Gorgeous property, right by lake (5/5 stars)
"We parked the car and didn't move it for our entire stay. Whole Foods less than a mile away, and another grocery even closer. Loved being so close to the lake, and a five-minute walk, if that, to rent kayaks. And yet it was quiet at night, and felt very safe. The house itself is beautiful, comfortable, and obviously well cared for. This place is a dream."

"What a beautiful spot on Bde Maka Ska close to trails, dining, shopping & coffee. Plenty of room for my friends and I to make this our "home base" for Art a Whirl weekend and we lucked out with the weather! House was lovely and so well equipped, and who could argue with the views/location next to the water!! We hit up our favorites, Rustica, Barbette, Majers & Quinn, and Curioso Coffee. Easy to hop on Lime bikes to get elsewhere in Uptown & Southwest. All in all a wonderful stay and the hosts were SO accommodating with early check-in & extra parking, thank you!"

We had plenty of space to comfortably relax and I loved the desk in the sunroom for the small amount of time I had to work while on our trip. "Our stay at Lakeside Lux was perfect for our family of 7. I was impressed the moment I walked in the door and looked around. My impressions continued to grown each day. Quality and character made this home really stand out. The home was very clean and the decor was simple and inviting. We all loved the patio area with the putting green and outside seating area. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of quality cooking supplies. The team was also very responsive and courteous to a small issue we had.
We loved being so close to the lake where there were many opportunities for me to walk and our family to hang out and play. We had a very poor and unfortunate experience the last time were in Minneapolis at an Airbnb, but this house and Minnestay totally redeemed experience. We would love to stay here again the next time we’re in town."

"We decided to visit Minneapolis as a rest area from up north heading back to Chicago, luckily for us MINNeSTAY had availability at their Luxe Home. It was the nicest, most eloquent, perfect home for the Family. We immediately jumped into rest mode upon arriving enjoying the luxurious comfort it offers. The home created memorable experience for the Family. One of the treats we received was having accessibility of the lake within seconds. May relaxing recreating activities for more enjoyment and relaxation. Inside and outside the home is located in a wonderful community and was a win win situation for the Family rain or shine. It shined for us, no doubt about it. The home kept us rested, pampered, happy, and comfortable. The only disappointment we felt was during CHECK OUT TIME!!!
